MK Gallery Terms and Conditions
Concessionary tickets are available for full-time students and the unwaged. We require proof of status for these ticket types:
- Students: Valid student card
- Unwaged: proof of receipt of unwaged benefits.
MK Gallery does not offer refunds for tickets unless the event is cancelled.
Tickets are non-transferable. Reselling a ticket for profit or commercial gain without permission from MK Gallery will make it void and the holder may be refused entry or removed from the event. Those who hold tickets from unauthorised outlets may be refused admission to the event.
MK Gallery is not liable for tickets that are lost or stolen.
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by someone who is at least 18 years of age.
MK Gallery reserves the right to request photographic identification verifying the age of the customer (e.g. a driving licence or passport) for entry into 12A, 15, 15A, 16 and 18 certificated films.
If the event is taking place in the Sky Room latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the event or performance and, at the artists request, may not be admitted at all.
MK Gallery reserves the right to refuse entry or make alternations to the programme if rendered necessary by unavoidable circumstances.
The recording, filming or documenting of an event or exhibition without prior consent of MK Gallery is not permitted.
Ticket holders consent to the recording, filming or documenting of themselves as participants / audience members of the event.
CCTV is in operation on the premises for the purpose of crime prevention and detection.
All food and drink consumed at MK Gallery must be bought on the premises and if consumed during a performance should not disrupt the pleasure of others. Food and drink may not be consumed in the galleries.
Smoking and use of e-cigarettes is strictly forbidden in MK Gallery’s building and outdoor spaces.
We kindly ask visitors not to touch artworks on display and to supervise children in the galleries.
If the event is taking place in the Sky Room please ensure mobile phones, pagers and watch alarms are switched off for the duration.
MK Gallery Membership is for a twelve month period and can not be cancelled or refunded.

Renewing your memberships
Your membership will automatically renew each year unless you cancel the autorenewal or there’s a payment failure. We’ll send a reminder before your membership renews and you can cancel automatic renewal by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org anytime before your membership expiry date.
Alternatively, you can renew online. Simply sign into your account and you will see the option to renew your current membership and view all the details online. You can also check the payment card on the system for the autorenewal, update the card details or add a new card for the renewal.
If you pay for your membership by Direct Debit it will renew automatically each year unless you ask us or your bank to cancel your Direct Debit mandate.
On-line shop orders
All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. MK Gallery aims to ensure the pricing of products is correct at all times, however, the web pages may not accurately reflect the correct details at time you place your order. MK Gallery cannot confirm the price of a product until your order is accepted and reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. Prices of some goods on-line may differ from those in our on-site shop.
If MK Gallery has insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered we will inform you by email and any sum which may have been debited from your credit card, will be credited to you within 30 days of the date of your order.
The total cost of your order reflects the price of the items plus shipping and handling charge for packaging and postage. You will be contacted to confirm the status of your order. All products are priced in pounds sterling (£) and include UK Value Added Tax where applicable.
By ordering a product you accept MK Gallery’s terms and conditions, which can be subject to change at any time, and it is your responsibility to check them regularly before ordering products in case there are any changes.
When you have completed your order, you will be sent a confirmation email. It will state what the products are, the cost (including postage, packaging and VAT if applicable), delivery information and invoice details. If your order has been unsuccessful you will be made aware of the reason why.
MK Gallery accepts all major credit and debit cards. All credit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. MK Gallery does not store any credit card details. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, your order will not be accepted and MK Gallery will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of goods.
A legally binding contract between you and MK Gallery will be formed upon confirmation receipt of the dispatch of your order. This email confirmation shall represent MK Gallery’s legal acceptance of the offer you made to purchase the product(s) when you completed your order. If MK Gallery confirms to you that some but not other products that you have ordered have been dispatched, the product(s) that have not been dispatched will not form part of the contract. In the event of any change, for example, in price or expected delivery date between completion of your order and contract formation, MK Gallery shall inform you and you shall at that point have the right to either (i) accept the change (in which case your email reply will represent a new offer which MK Gallery will accept upon notification of dispatch) or (ii) reject the change (in which case your email reply will represent a withdrawal of your order, or the relevant part of your order as the case may be).
All deliveries are made by Royal Mail or courier service depending on the shipment and delivery address. All items are usually dispatched within 5 working days after an order has been placed and delivery times vary depending on shipping method and destination. Shipping charges are calculated from your shipping address, and the weight and dimensions of the package to be delivered. Books and pamphlets are the only items over 2kg that can be sent by Royal Mail’s international services. The maximum weight for sending books and pamphlets is 5kg. Orders over 5kg will be split into two separate shipments and will be charged accordingly.
Orders are executed within 5 days so cancellations are possible if you get in touch immediately. If you do find you have made a mistake please contact us immediately so that we can try to intercept your order. In the event that you should decide to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible, quoting your name and order reference number.
If, for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your order, MK Gallery will refund the value of the goods supplied. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected if you wish to make a return. MK Gallery will repay you the value of the goods, excluding delivery costs, within 30 days of receipt of the returned goods as long as they are received in the condition in which they were dispatched. This will be without any further charge to you except the direct cost of returning the goods. Please appropriately package the items with a copy of the original invoice and send it to MK Gallery. For the return of high value goods, MK Gallery recommends that you use a recorded delivery. Please contact us by phone on 01908 676 900 or email email@example.com if you would like to obtain authorisation of your return. MK Gallery is not responsible for non-delivery of returned items. The return address is MK Gallery, 900 Midsummer Boulevard, Central Milton Keynes, MK9 3QA.
The purchased goods must be stored by you in appropriate conditions. If you do not store them in appropriate conditions, MK Gallery cannot be held responsible for faults or problems that arise as a result. Any claim by you in respect of any shortages and/or defects in the goods must be notified to MK Gallery by you within 7 days of the delivery date, stating the nature of the shortage/defect and quoting the invoice number. Failure to notify MK Gallery will deem you to have accepted the goods. In addition for defective goods, MK Gallery will refund you reasonable costs incurred for postage of the goods, but shall have no further liability to you. If you do not notify MK Gallery accordingly, MK Gallery shall have no liability for any defects and you shall be bound to pay for the goods.
MK Gallery shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.
You warrant that the information given on your order form is complete and accurate.
Your information will only be used for the purpose of processing your orders and contacting you about your orders. If you have given us permission to contact you for other purposes, you may also receive emails about gallery news, events and information.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
All our profits go to support the work of MK Gallery.
